The Chicken

Once upon a time, there was a chicken. It was not an ordinary chicken, but a fried chicken. It was really crunchy, in fact, it was the crunchiest chicken in the world.

It crunched when people were eating it.

It crunched when they were stepping on it.

It even crunched when Jerry got hit with a full bucket over his head.

On a second thought though... that might have been his skull caving in.

People were going really wild for this chicken.

I wonder if they would be doing that if they knew that it has never been a fried chicken. I wonder if the cook will one day make a mistake. And I wonder if that mistake will still be able to talk.

Or scream.
